“...very strongly built and handsome with it, well muscled and super boned, large capacious ribcage, delighted to see his high set ears with mobility, this really gave head and expression impetus, so proud and alert, strong, true movement was very impressive, powerhouse of dog with style of an athelete”

Ms. C Carlton 's dog has been reared on Albion Meat Products raw food

We are becoming more aware of health related problems of eating highly processed foods in our own diets, could this also be true for your pet?

Feeding our dogs has become a complex issue, due to the multitude of options available to us. However feed dogs the food they’re designed to eat a variety of meats, vegetables and meaty raw bones.

Rough Guide to raw Feeding

  • Dogs are best fed variety of Raw Meat and Bones. Just keeping to one source will deprive the dog of essential nutrients. Never feed cooked bones: these are prone to splinter and can cause internal problems in your pet. Raw bones provide much needed minerals and are easily digested.
  • A guide line to start with would be for every 10kgs of body weight feed 125gms -175gms. If your dog is gaining weight reduce the amount, if losing weight increase it.

  • Meaty bones should be fed in addition to meat, but Chicken wings are to be included as meat. If you cannot obtain the raw bones feed the Albion   Chicken or Complete Frozen in the Premium Range, or Lamb and Chicken in the Standard Range for Minced Bones and Cartilage. Feed fresh Viscera (hearts, kidney, lung or Liver) once a week instead of the meaty bones.Albion Standard Beef Mince provides Heart and Lung as part of its blend.
  • Vegetables, especially green leaved ones, fruit and salad items are to be liquidised. Use what ever you have available, but remember to use a variety over the week.

  • Use two portions of vegetables to one of meat.

  • If you are not able to feed a variety of vegetables and fruit use a supplement from the Dorwest Herb ltd range to suit your dogs needs
